About us
Cognoscens was created in the beginning of 2005, as a non-profit organization, and was registered in 2007 as a limited company. In 2010 we have released our first commercial software. Part of our activities was spun-off from UK’s National Physical Laboratory. As of today, we have three founding members and seven international experts. We recently got passionate about portable devices, which we see as the future of computing, which includes technical computing as well. We have developed several apps, which are tagged along our roadmap of upcoming products.

The core strength of our team resides in our extensive design and modeling capability – fully exploiting the most recent advances of finite element and other technologies. To this day, we have not found any problem that we could not solve using proper simulations tools.
Our integrated network of international collaborators enables us to offer a broad range of expertise, addressing the needs of both traditional and emerging sectors. In addition, Cognoscens partners with experienced subcontractors able to do prototype manufacturing work in Europe, the United States and Asia.
