TipToe

Tip Toe was created to make web search easier while on the go. Instead of using the built-in Google search of Safari, you can just search the web from Tip Toe, with a few advantages: the engine is based on Bing and Blekko, with a bit of artificial intelligence on top. It should remove all aggregated results of server farms, and the interface is free of ads. One more point: Tip Toe does NOT track your searches, and respects your privacy.
How many times have you browsed Mobile safari to realize that you had to cut/paste your URL to your favorite social network? While it was not a development intended in the beginning, we found that one of the compelling features for a minimal web search and web browser was to be able to export the page we're looking at in just one tap! So, additional to the classic send link by email, open in Safari, Copy, we have included the possibility to export to Facebook, Twitter, Instapaper, Read Later, Tumblr, Google Reader and Pinboard. Simply put, you have the choice. And trust us, this is really convenient.
By default Tip Toe uses Adult content filters, and will not provide results for this type of content.
The app extracts its search results from Bing and Blekko. Those are accessed through a API directly from their servers, and we do not track these results - nor does Microsoft or Blekko. A number of options are available to share your results using social networks, please refer to their privacy policies for further information.

Tip Toe is really simple to use. It consists in two main views: the search window, which is popped up when you start the app, and the web display window. Let's get through it briefly.
The main window is for searching. Enter your search terms in the text field at the top, hit the "Search" button at the bottom right of the screen, et voilˆ, your results appear after a short delay, depending upon the quality of your network connection.
The two dots on the left indicate the origin of the results. If the top dot is filled, the result is coming from Bing, if the bottom dot is filled the result is coming from blekko. For a description and link to these services, see the "Credits" section.
Select the result you are interested in by tapping on it. It directs you to the in-app web browser. The top icons are taking you back to the list of results, opening actions (send to Safari, email link) and for browsing the results (up/down the list). The second bar is a simple browser bar we are all familiar with.
To maximize your screen real-estate, you can tap on the top bar, which will hide or show the browser bar. That's all there is to it!
Tapping on the "Actions" icon of the top bar brings up a share dialog. Here you can copy the link, email it, open it in Safari, and share it using social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Pinboard, Instapaper, etc... Your favorite Social network does not appear in the list? Look for it by tapping the "More..." button.
